Early Baserunning LIVE
Easy
Dugout Captain’s Dan Keller leads a young team through the Early Baserunning portion of practice. This is nothing more than adding baserunning fundamentals to the full-sprint finish of a warm up. Athletes will finish with 4-6 sprints regardless so DC recommends training a baserunning fundamental. Use these sprints to reinforce something taught at the previous practice, or highlighting something to come later that day.
Executed at the Warm Up Cones, Early Baserunning is 4-6 sprints at the end of Warm Up segment. Early Baserunning leads right into the Throwing segment of practice.
